How to say "no" differently?
Children don't like to accept the answer "no" as a response. Something that I usually like to say to my children when they ask "can I get this, can I get that, please mommy, I won't ask you for anything else ever again." We have heard it all before. So how can I say "no" to all their statements. My response is "let me think about it". Works every time for the time being. Then they remember again, my next response is "I said I was going to think about it and I'm not done thinking, but you know what I was thinking let go get Dunkin' Donuts instead" (hahah). That usually keeps their mind out of whatever they wanted and have them enjoy the moment eating or drinking something that they like.
